What ZonePit 1.0 does. Everything here is already in the public beta.
Coach and weekly plan
Goal, date and time per weekday make your plan. The coach explains why a session is due and suggests changes.
Planning
Build, recovery and taper weeks across all sports, time budget per weekday. No two hard days in a row.
Adjustment
On a weak day the coach suggests an easier session or a rest day. Nothing changes unless you confirm.
Conversation
Ask in your own words: “What if Wednesday falls through?” The coach is an AI; its answers are generated on device.
Free/Pro
3 coach questions a week for free. Weekly plan and unlimited coach with Pro.
Readiness
Every morning an honest look at your recovery, measured against your own normal range, not population averages.
Inputs
HRV and resting heart rate as a 7-day trend, last night's sleep score and how you feel.
Result
A number from 0 to 100 and a level (good, normal, limited), with every signal and how reliable the assessment is.
Method
Based on the Australian Institute of Sport's HRV guide, openly described. New watch? ZonePit recalibrates.
Sleep
A sleep score from 0 to 100, weighted like Apple's but calculated openly.
Sleep score
Duration against your sleep goal, regular bedtimes and time awake at night.
Sleep debt
What you fell short of your goal over the last 7 nights.
Bedtime
A recommendation from your usual wake-up time and sleep goal, with Pro matched to tomorrow's plan.
Limit
You see sleep stages, but they are not scored: watches estimate them too imprecisely.
Health metrics
Sleep, vitals, nutrition and wellbeing as tiles: a number, a short read-out, a trend. Tap for chart and details.
Ranges
7, 30 and 90 days, with average, minimum, maximum and trend.
Gaps
Missing values stay visibly empty, nothing is guessed.
Fuelling around training
Energy, carbohydrates, protein and water from your nutrition app via Apple Health.
Free
Daily values and history.
Pro
Fuelling ranges for long and hard sessions, training vs. rest day comparison.
Limit
No calorie, diet or weight targets. General guidance, not nutrition advice.
History and analysis
Fitness, fatigue and form from your entire training history in Apple Health, plus weekly load and time in zones.
Cycling
Power curve and bests, time in power zones, FTP suggestions.
Running and swimming
Pace zones and threshold pace for running, load per sport. Swims count by duration and effort, and by pace where pace data exists.
Heart rate
Heart rate zones and maximum heart rate from your own measurements.
Honest
Duplicate recordings from watch and app are detected. Every number is traceable.
Cycle-aware coaching
For women, optional and free. Only appears when it's relevant to you.
What it does
Readiness and plan take your cycle phase into account. A higher resting heart rate in the second half of the cycle isn't treated as poor recovery.
What it doesn't
No statements about fertility or contraception, no medical assessments.
Data
Reads from Apple Health and calculates on the device only. It writes only what you enter yourself and allow. Can be switched off anytime.
Apple Watch
Planned sessions appear in your Apple Watch Workout app, for cycling and running with intervals and target ranges, for swimming with duration.
Feedback
Completed workouts are matched to the planned session.
Without a watch
Targets appear as text on your iPhone. Mark sessions done without a watch and optionally log them to Apple Health.
Set up for you
At the start you say what matters to you. ZonePit shapes Today, Plan and Coach around it.
Athlete type
Performance and racing, fit and enduring, or health and an active life. Change it any time; nothing is locked.
My profile
Everything about you in one place, with its source: from Apple Health, entered by you or estimated.
Youth mode
Under 16, more cautious progression and no weight or nutrition goals; under 13, no AI coach.
Weather, journal, notifications and sharing
Everyday life around your training.
Weather
Weather per workout and a forecast when planning, from Apple's weather service.
Journal
Tag what shaped your day and see how it relates to readiness and sleep.
Notifications
Readiness in the morning, a bedtime reminder, a weekly review. Each can be turned off.
Sharing
Readiness, load and workouts as an image in portrait or square format, with a ZonePit or transparent background. You decide what you share and with whom.
Open method
Every number shows what it is made of, how precise it is and where the method comes from.
